MINI is introducing a limited series of 999 all-electric MINI Cooper SE Convertible cars in Europe starting from April 2023. It features a 135 kW/184 hp electric motor that provides a smooth acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds, which is great for a compact convertible car. Its small size allows for an agile and easily controllable handling, which contributes to a pure electrified go-kart feeling.
In terms of features, the
MINI Cooper SE Convertible has an extensive interior equipment with MINI Electric Design features. It includes sports seats in MINI Yours Leather Lounge design with seat heating and adjustable thigh support, multifunctional sports leather steering wheel in Nappa leather finish, and the eDrive services familiar from the MINI Cooper SE. The cockpit also features an Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function and the MINI Driving Assistant, among other features that enhance the comfort of the limited MINI Convertible with all-electric drive as standard.
The price for the limited edition MINI Cooper SE Convertible has not been disclosed yet. It is expected to be higher than the conventional MINI Convertible due to its exclusive character and unique features.
