Mercedes-AMG has introduced the CLE 646 Spezialanfertigung, a road-legal high-performance coupe limited to 30 hand-built examples. The Mythos Series model was sold out before its world premiere.
Power comes from an extensively enhanced AMG M177 EVO 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine producing 637 hp. It sends power exclusively to the rear wheels.
Based on the CLE 53 platform, the coupe receives a unique wide-body design, carbon-fiber components, purpose-developed aerodynamics and a newly developed coilover suspension. Lightweight construction reduces mass by approximately 375 pounds compared with the donor vehicle.
