The all-new 2023
Kia Sportage is 7.1 inches longer than the previous model and has a 3.4-inch extended wheelbase. The vehicle's 41.3-inch rear legroom and 637 liters luggage capacity make it a class leader in the compact SUV segment.
Kia's E-Handling technology is also making its debut in the all-new Sportage, increasing the vehicle's dynamic performance and stability. A new-generation Electric Control Suspension (ESC) is also incorporated for maximum comfort and enhanced safety.
A more assertive model, X-Line, has also been added to the Sportage family. The X-Line Sportage comes with a lugged bumper, side sills, and a curved roof rack.
Awe-inspiring exterior design:
The "Opposites United" design philosophy of Kia is at the heart of the all-new Sportage, influencing every facet of its exterior looks and setting the design tone for the next generation compact
SUVs.
At the front, Kia's iconic tiger-nose grille is linked to the stunning and distinctive boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, forming strong character lines for the breathtaking Matrix LED headlamps.
A sweeping fastback design of all-new Sportage extends all the way back to the rear lights, giving it an intense, bulky look and a strong road presence. The rear razor lights are linked by a horizontal stripe and add to the vehicle's wider rear looks.
State-of-the-art interior:
The all-new Sportage's interior illustrates a new concept from Kia, providing a comfortable atmosphere in the cabin with near-luxury amenities. A beautifully sculpted digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch infotainment screen, an innovative integrated controller, and exquisitely crafted air vents stand at the center of the futuristic interior.
The driver and front passenger can benefit from an ergonomic center console with operating system configuration, storage spaces, cupholders, and soft-touch buttons. Harman Kardon's premium sound system provides fully immersive in-car surround sound to the occupants.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance:
The all-new Sportage will be available with a high-tech 1.6-liter TGDI powertrain that produces 180PS and 27.0kgf.m torque. The four-cylinder engine offers improved fuel economy thanks to a new and improved combustion process and ground-breaking cooling technology.
A new and highly efficient R2.0-liter diesel engine with a revolutionary turbocharger is also a part of the launch line-up. This engine produces 186PS and 42.5kgf.m torque.
A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is standard with the 1.6-liter TGDI engine, but a 6-speed manual transmission is also available. The new R2.0-liter diesel engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that has been completely re-engineered.
Advanced Safety Features:
The all-new Sportage will be available with various driver-assistance features, both standard and optional. Some of them are mentioned below.
- The all-new Sportage comes with Kia's famous Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that helps the vehicle avoid any potential hazards.
- Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) prevents accidents with objects in front of the car.
