Polestar, the electric performance car brand, has introduced the second limited-edition version of Polestar 2 under its Polestar Engineered portfolio. The BST edition 230 builds upon the unique chassis modifications of the original BST edition to offer enhanced performance and design details.
The Polestar 2 BST edition 230 boasts 350 kW power and 680 Nm torque, along with an exclusive green Nebula paintwork and MicroSuede textile seats and steering wheel inserts made from partly recycled Nubuck textile. The car’s exterior can also be ordered in Space (black), with an optional full-length body stripe available for either body colour.
All the original Polestar 2 BST edition 270 chassis upgrades remain available in the new model, including the lowered ride height (-25 mm), specially developed Öhlins 2-way adjustable dampers, front strut bar, 20% stiffer springs, and unique black 21-inch alloy wheels inspired by those of Polestar 1, fitted with 245/35R21 Pirelli P Zero tyres developed specifically for BST edition cars.
Limited edition drops like the Polestar 2 BST edition 230 allow Polestar to explore colours, graphics and materials in faster and more creative ways, according to Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO. The car is yet to be priced or made available, but it is sure to excite electric car enthusiasts looking for a thrilling ride.
