BMW has introduced the fully electric iX3 M60 xDrive as the most powerful variant of its Neue Klasse SUV. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system produces 450 kW (612 hp) and 875 Nm (645 lb-ft) of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h.
The iX3 M60 xDrive uses a 108.7-kWh usable battery and has a provisional WLTP range of up to 754 km (468 miles). DC charging is supported at up to 400 kW, while BMW says a 10-minute fast-charge session can add up to 340 km (211 miles) of range under suitable conditions.
Adaptive M suspension, variable sport steering, an electronically controlled M Sport differential and M Sport brakes are standard. Production is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with orders opening at the end of January 2027.
