BMW will launch the fully electric iX4 with two all-wheel-drive variants in March 2027, followed by the range-topping iX4 M60 xDrive. All versions use one electric motor on each axle as part of BMW's sixth-generation eDrive system. The iX4 40 xDrive produces 275 kW (374 hp) and 520 Nm, while the 50 xDrive delivers 345 kW (469 hp) and 645 Nm. The 50 xDrive reaches 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, has a 210 km/h top speed and offers up to 828 km of WLTP range from a 108.7-kWh usable battery. Its 400-kW DC charging system can add up to 387 km of range in 10 minutes under the stated conditions. The iX4 M60 xDrive follows shortly afterward with 450 kW (612 hp), 875 Nm, a 3.9-second 0-100 km/h time, a 240 km/h electronically limited top speed and up to 777 km of range. The M60 comes with adaptive M suspension, M Sport equipment and a 21-inch wheel specification.
