Nissan is beginning the global rollout of the Frontier Pro and Navara Pro pickup, with sales starting in Mexico in October 2026. The five-seat truck is being offered with plug-in hybrid and internal-combustion powertrains, depending on the market. The PHEV lineup includes 1.5- and 2.0-liter options and is Nissan’s first plug-in hybrid pickup. The PHEV version also offers vehicle-to-load capability for powering external equipment, while an internal-combustion version will be sold in the Middle East. Designed and built in China by Zhengzhou Nissan, the pickup will reach other Latin American markets by the end of 2026, followed by Australia and New Zealand in 2027.
