Volkswagen has unveiled the ID.3 Neo, an extensively updated electric compact model with revised exterior styling, a redesigned interior and a new drive system. The largest available battery enables a range of up to 630 km under the WLTP test cycle. The ID.3 Neo will be offered with electric outputs of 125 kW (170 PS), 140 kW (190 PS) or 170 kW (231 PS). Battery options are rated at 50, 58 or 79 kWh net, with the highest-output version paired with the 79-kWh battery. DC charging capacity reaches 105 kW for the 50- and 58-kWh batteries and 183 kW for the 79-kWh unit. New technology includes an optional Connected Travel Assist system with traffic-light recognition, one-pedal driving and vehicle-to-load capability supplying up to 3.6 kW. Pre-sales are scheduled to begin in Germany and many European markets on April 16, 2026.
