New Aston Martin DBX707: The most powerful luxury SUV

Aston Martin has introduced the fastest, most powerful, and best handling DBX707— an SUV like no other. The flagship high-performance SUV is an enthralling combination of jaw-dropping style, intense performance, and outright luxury.

DBX707 features a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with ball-bearing turbochargers and bespoke engine calibration, allowing the SUV to generate 707PS of power and 900Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a 9-speed 'wet clutch' automatic transmission capable of making much faster gear changes and managing much-increased torque loadings. The new DBX accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 193 mph—astonishing figures for a 2.2-tonne SUV.

The DBX707 is also fitted with 22-inch alloy wheels and new Carbon Ceramic Brakes, including 420mm discs at the front and 390mm at the back. CCB discs are gripped by 6-piston calipers, resulting in a 40.5kg reduction in unsprung weight.

707 is distinguished from the standard DBX by a distinctive style package. The most apparent modifications are the all-new DRLs and a larger grille with a new double-vane mesh design. Light clusters, air intakes, and bumpers have been updated, and a bigger rear diffuser, wider quad exhausts, and a new trim detailing are also added to the exterior.

The vehicle's interior is equipped with 16-way adjustable sports seats, and all the switchgear is finished in dark chrome. Three interior configurations are available that offer a mix of leather/Alcantara or semi-aniline leather with embroidered Aston wings on the headrests. The cabin also features a new driving mode selector panel that allows the driver to have immediate fingertip control of essential dynamic modes rather than navigating through sub-menus on the touchscreen.

Production of the DBX707 is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2022, with the initial deliveries scheduled for the second quarter of 2022.
