The All-new Toyota Sequoia 2023 SUV Is Set To Make a Statement

Toyota has unveiled the all-new 2023 Sequoia, replacing the second generation of the SUV that made its debut back in 2008. The company has redesigned this SUV to elevate the full-size segment with sumptuous comfort, best-in-class technology, and extraordinary performance

The all-new Sequoia will be powered by a twin-turbo V6 hybrid i-FORCE MAX powertrain. First unveiled on Tundra, this exceptional hybrid system produces 437 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft. of torque. The maximum towing capacity of the SUV is 9,000 pounds, and a 10-speed automatic transmission is a standard across all variants.

The fuel economy of the all-new 2023 Sequoias is expected to be highly competitive and a massive improvement over the previous generation. Sequoia will be offered in 2WD with the optional 4WD system available on Limited, Platinum, SR5, and Capstone grades. TRD Pro will only feature a 4WD system. In order to provide premium ride comfort and high-end off-road capabilities, Toyota has built this SUV on an advanced body-on-frame chassis with a fully boxed frame. Sequoia also features an independent front suspension and a new rack-mounted electronic power steering system for improved handling.

The three-row SUV comes in a variety of seating and cargo configurations. Second-row passengers get an option of bench seating or captain's chairs, depending on the vehicle's grade. Toyota has introduced the Adjustable Cargo Shelf System in this SUV. The system comprises a removable shelf that can be adjusted in various storage positions, providing you with ultimate flexibility in rear cargo and storage needs. The SUV also has a segment-first Sliding Third Row feature that allows you to slide the third row within 6 inches of adjustment range.

Sequoia has a rugged appearance with masculine looks and an upright stance. The front of the vehicle features a massive grille and striking headlights, giving it a strong road presence. The vehicle shares most of its interior upgrades with the 2022 Tundra. It features a 14.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, a panoramic moonroof, and a head-up display.

The Toyota Sequoia 2023 will be available in the Summer of 2022. It will be sold at dealerships across North America and a few other markets. Toyota has not revealed the price of the vehicle yet.
