The All-New Capstone Trim Takes the 2022 Toyota Tundra to New Extremes
The all-new Tundra Capstone offers a superior collection of high-end features and upgrades, ensuring a premium driving experience for everyone. The Capstone is powered by a 3.4-liter V-6 iForce MAX hybrid twin-turbocharged engine, producing 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. The vehicle features a 10-speed automatic transmission and has a towing capacity of 10,340 pounds with a maximum payload rating of 1485 pounds.
The Tundra Capstone comes standard with 22-inch chrome wheels and is only available in a CrewMax body configuration with a 5.5-foot bed. The vehicle offers Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and load-leveling rear height control air suspension, allowing you to adjust the height of the bed according to your needs. Capstone is available in a wide range of colors including, midnight black metallic, magnetic gray metallic, blueprint, celestial silver metallic, wind chill pearl, and supersonic red.
The interior of the Capstone has all the amenities of a luxury cabin. The best-in-class semi-aniline leather-trimmed seats with a black and white color combination provide you a feeling of luxury and comfort at the same time. The dashboard comes with walnut trim and an illuminated Capstone logo which lights up when the doors are opened. The car's interior also features a 14.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.0-inch color head-up display, a 12.3 digital gauge cluster, a JBL sound system, and standard power running boards.
Like all other Tundra trims, Capstone comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, featuring a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection. The vehicle is also equipped with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) and Lane Departure Alert. Other standard safety features include a blind-spot monitor, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, and rear cross traffic alert.
The Capstone will hit the dealerships this spring, and pricing has yet to be announced by Toyota.
