Honda has unveiled the e:Ny1, its latest electric vehicle, at a media event in Germany. The e:Ny1 is Honda's second fully electric vehicle in Europe and targets the growing demand for electric SUVs in the B-segment. The e:Ny1 boasts a bold and sophisticated exterior aesthetic with a short front overhang, large wheels, and a wide track. It introduces a new electric identity with white 'H' badges placed around the vehicle. Inside, the spacious cabin offers a simple layout with easily accessible buttons, multiple storage options, and wireless charging. The dashboard features a large 15.1-inch touchscreen for comprehensive infotainment and driving options.
Built on Honda's e:N Architecture F platform, the e:Ny1 delivers impressive performance. The platform focuses on a high rigidity body structure, low center of gravity, and optimized under-floor aerodynamics, ensuring a fun and confidence-inspiring driving experience. Its electric powertrain consists of a high-performance, lightweight three-in-one integrated power drive unit, electric motor, and gearbox. With a maximum output of 150 kW and 310 Nm of torque, the e:Ny1 offers smooth acceleration and deceleration. Its high-capacity lithium-ion battery provides a range of up to 412 km (WLTP) and supports fast-charging, allowing 10 to 80% charge in just 45 minutes.
