The 2027 Honda Civic Type R arrives with 315 horsepower from its turbocharged K20C engine and a six-speed manual transmission. A redesigned front fascia, deeper splitter and larger grille opening improve engine cooling and increase downforce, while revised suspension damping in +R mode, quicker Rev Match response and a more direct brake pedal sharpen the driving experience.
Honda has also added heated front sport seats, Ultrasuede trim, Google built-in with Google Gemini, Alexa built-in and two USB-C ports as standard equipment. The 2027 Civic Type R starts arriving at U.S. dealers this month with an MSRP of $48,695.
