The 2025 model year brings an extensive update to the all-electric Porsche Taycan, offering enhanced styling, improved performance, and new technology features. Here's a breakdown of the key updates:

  1. Enhanced Performance: The new Taycan models feature quicker acceleration, with the Taycan Turbo S sedan achieving 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds, making it the quickest production car Porsche has ever offered. The rear-wheel drive Taycan sedan now accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, 0.6 seconds quicker than before.
  2. Faster Charging: The updated Taycan can recharge even faster than before, with the ability to charge at up to 320 kW at 800-volt DC charging stations. The charging window has been significantly expanded, allowing for sustained high charging capacities for longer periods of time. The Performance Battery Plus now has a capacity of 105 kWh, increased from 93 kWh.
  3. New Active Chassis: All updated Taycan models come with adaptive air suspension as standard, and the new Porsche Active Ride suspension is available as an option for all models with all-wheel drive. This system offers a balance between driving comfort and dynamics.
  4. Efficiency Improvements: The updated Taycan features various efficiency enhancements, including an advanced powertrain, improved thermal management, and revised recuperation and all-wheel-drive strategies. The maximum recuperation capacity during deceleration has increased by more than 30 percent.
  5. Expanded Standard Equipment: The 2025 Taycan models come with an extensive list of standard equipment, including Lane Change Assist, heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, and more. Adaptive air suspension is now standard on entry-level Taycan models.
  6. Attractive Design and Customization: The exterior design of the Taycan has been updated with new front- and rear-end styling, including new headlights and taillights. There are also new accent colors and interior customization options available, including leather-free interior packages.
  7. Updated Control and Display Concept: The Taycan features an optimized user interface with additional functions, including a new control lever for driver assistance systems and deeper integration of Apple CarPlay. The In-Car Video function enables video streaming on the central display and passenger display.

The 2025 Taycan sedan and Cross Turismo models are available to order now, with expected availability at U.S. Porsche Centers in the summer of 2024. Prices start at $99,400 for the base Taycan sedan and range up to $211,700 for the Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo.
