Lexus has officially unveiled the refreshed 2026 IS 350, marking over 25 years of its sporty compact sedan heritage. Known for its dynamic rear-wheel-drive performance and bold styling, the IS continues to represent the essence of the Lexus Driving Signature—a philosophy focused on delivering a precise, confident, and enjoyable driving experience. With more than 1.3 million units sold globally, the new IS remains loyal to its roots while pushing forward with meaningful updates in design, technology, and performance.

Visually, the 2026 IS gains a reworked front fascia that emphasizes a low stance and wide body, complemented by new 19-inch wheels and an available rear spoiler on F SPORT grades. A new “Wind” exterior color joins the palette, designed to reflect motion through metallic-infused gray tones. Inside, the cockpit adopts a more driver-focused layout with a larger 12.3-inch Lexus Interface display and a matching digital instrument cluster. Unique Forged Bamboo trim and the sporty Radiant Red interior color add sophistication and personality, especially in F SPORT models.

The IS 350 continues to be powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6, producing 311 hp and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque. Buyers can choose between RWD with an 8-speed Sport Direct Shift transmission or AWD with a 6-speed automatic. Engineers focused on refining the steering response and suspension behavior to deliver smoother cornering, braking, and acceleration transitions—key elements of the Lexus Driving Signature philosophy. However, 0–60 mph times and EPA ratings are still pending.

Tech-wise, every IS now includes Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 as standard, adding features like Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, and more. Optional upgrades include a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, wireless phone charging, and four USB-C ports for front and rear passengers. The 2026 IS is expected to go on sale in early 2026, with full pricing and option details to be announced closer to launch.
