Hyundai  has announced plans to unveil the fifth generation of its signature midsize SUV, the Santa Fe, in a radical transformation. The revamped model continues the company's nature-meets-city appeal and is set for a worldwide premiere in August on Hyundai's YouTube channel.

Adopting a lifestyle-based design approach, Hyundai has upgraded the SUV to maximise rear cargo capacity and offer better flexibility for both urban and outdoor activities. The refined yet robust exterior design is complemented by an expanded, versatile interior that provides users with a terrace-like open space.

The all-new Santa Fe offers a perfect blend of city living and outdoor exploration, according to SangYup Lee, the Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai Global Design Center. With its extended wheelbase, spacious interior, and terrace-like tailgate, the new Santa Fe provides a premium customer experience with increased versatility.

Distinctive H-shaped design cues are featured throughout the new Santa Fe, representing a reinterpretation of Hyundai’s ‘H’ emblem. These design elements are present in the headlamps and lower front design, creating a sense of cohesion. This feature extends to the taillights, offering a distinct Santa Fe presence on the road.

The interior of the all-new Santa Fe comes with a spacious, accommodating tailgate, fully foldable second- and third-row seats, and a range of high-tech features. These include a Panoramic Curved Display and dual wireless charging.

The SUV also features sustainable elements, such as the suede headliner, car mats, and second- and third-row seatbacks made from recycled plastic, and eco-friendly leatherette crash pad and door trim covers.

With the fifth-generation Santa Fe, Hyundai is aiming to provide a seamless blend of city and outdoor living, offering its users an expansive range of experiences.
