Mazda has released the pricing and specifications for the all-new Mazda CX-60 PHEV in the United Kingdom
The new Mazda CX-60 flagship SUV has been unveiled in the United Kingdom, and it is the first Mazda vehicle to feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain. A 100 kW electric motor and a 17.8 kWh battery pack are paired with the highly capable Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine. This incredibly efficient engine and motor combination produce a total system output of 327 ps and 500 pound-feet of torque, making it Mazda's most powerful road car ever.
The CX-60 e-Skyactiv PHEV offers 63 km (39 miles) of motor-powered driving at 100 km/h (62mph) or less, as well as 67 km (42 miles) of city EV range. The flagship SUV also delivers electrifying performance, accelerating from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.8 seconds.
The new CX-60 has a strong visual appeal thanks to its captivating and awe-inspiring design. The vehicle's front end has striking LED headlamps and a chrome-encrusted grille. The pronounced creases at the sides give the SUV a more aggressive stance and a muscular appearance. A sporty-looking bumper and dazzling LED lights adorn the rear end.
The Mazda CX-60 will be offered in the UK in three highly specified trim grades: Exclusive-Line (£43,950), Homura (£46,700), and Takumi (£48,050).
When it comes to the interior, the all-new CX-60 has a classy-looking cabin with high-quality materials. Automatic cruise control, dual-zone temperature control, and a 12-inch central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all standard.
Customers have the option to add the Convenience Pack and Driver Assistance Pack in the Homura and Takumi variants. The Driver Assistance Pack provides additional active safety features, while the Convenience Pack offers a 360-degree monitor with a see-through view and wireless phone charging.
Only the Exclusive-Line gets the £1,400 Comfort Pack, which adds premium features like electric front seats, front-seat ventilation, rear seat heaters, 20-inch alloy wheels, and Mazda Driver Personalisation System technology. This system uses face recognition to determine who is driving the car and adjust the seat, head-up display, and mirrors accordingly.
Eight body colors are available across all three CX-60 variants, including the new Rhodium White premium metallic paint. The new Mazda CX-60 will go on sale by the summer of 2022.
